She has placed in all halter shows she has been entered in (4th, 5th, 6th placings in large classes) including the North American, Empire, Green Mountain, and the Eastern States Expo. Her sire is Avalon's Peruvian Polaris, a white full Peruvian Royal Fawn grandson, 3 time color champion owned by Sleeping Monk Farm and Maine Alpaca Company.

She is out of Patagonia's Huacho, a true black male that was purchased out west from the well known Patagonia Alpaca Farm, and daughter of Cerveza's Nekeas. Huacho is out of the famous black west coast stud Sinopsis Nocturna and he is grandson of Caballero Andante. Like that of his famous sire, his personality is very mellow and easy going. Magic Hat is sweet as well, and a very flashy looker! She had a wonderful show season in 2008 placing 1st and 2nd in all halter classes. Multi performance ribbons with the kids. She is now bred to Showtime for a Fall 2011 cria.

The first time Megan saw this boy in the show ring, it was love at first sight! Come to find out, he followed suit to her love of Gold Standard/Legacy Gold genetics! His name says it all and his flashy and unusual rose gray patterns make this guy striking (along with his pantaloon leg fibers!)His first cria was born in the Fall of 2010 at Whispering Winds Alpacas. SHFA DAMIEN HERDSIRE -Breeding $1000.00 DOB: 09/28/2004 SIRE: Grazing Hills Gabriel DAM: Lightfoot's Maria Damien is the product of the the best bloodlines from the Atlantic and Pacific coast coming together (Peruvian Bueno and Peruvian Pluro)!!! His dark fawn crimp and luster is absolutely amazing! We have high hopes he’ll be the next generation of our herdsire program. He captured a 2nd, the youngest of out of 12 at his very first show! At the 2006 Coastal Classic, Mike Safley placed him 5th out of 8 stating he had the finest fleece in the class with the best micron, no leg faults, no white fibers, a wonderful stud prospect! We entered his fleece in the 2008 Coastal Classic, and even at 4 years of age, he placed 1st out of 5! He has his first cria on the ground! A beautiful dark brown FEMALE named Fiona (see above). We have rebred him to our own Cerveza's Nekeas for a Fall 2009 cria.
